Purpose, People & Passion

We believe in neighborhood– simple. local. good. people.

More than 200 years before us, Lebanon County was a hub for local breweries. These breweries were often an extension of a brewer’s home— where neighbors gathered after a hard day’s work and friends and families shared in local happenings and laughter.

We believe in bringing the neighborhood brewery back – where people share good times and a unique local experience. We are a gathering place that celebrates local artisans, the outdoors and culture of the region. We make hand-crafted beer, locally sourced food and our Red Canoe General Store delights with every day sundries and artisan goods.

The Corner

In 1924 Harry & Annie Leed opened a general store and gas station on the corner of a thorough-fare between Hershey and Lebanon. This was a cornerstone of local life— from kids buying penny candy and families enjoying ice cream to community Fireworks on the Fourth of July.

We are excited to bring good things back to the Corner, making it a vibrant community gathering spot once again.

Leed’s is a lifestyle.

In our corner of the neighborhood you can:

  • Stop in Bicycle Outfitters for the best in biking gear and repairs
  • Enjoy an amazing cup of coffee roasted by Sonder Coffee Co
  • Grab a bite for breakfast and stock-up on snacks for the day at Red Canoe General Store
  • Unwind in the laid-back vibe of Mount Gretna Craft Brewery with a refreshing pint and delicious eats

Community Giving

We are outdoor enthusiasts and find the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail (LVRT) a community gem for enjoying nature year-round. We also believe gathering around the table to share a meal is one of the best ways to connect with people in your life. That is why we have chosen the LVRT and Caring Cupboard as our signature causes for the Brewery & General Store. Thanks for helping us support our neighbors.

Lebanon Valley Rail Trail (LVRT)

The Lebanon Valley Rail Trail runs through the village of Mount Gretna and is a hub of outdoor adventures. Under the canopy of trees lies a treasure of family bike rides, walks with dogs, long runs, cross-country skiing and more. Proceeds from sales of our LVRT Ale and LVRT T-shirts and select karma yoga gatherings support our local gem.

The Caring Cupboard

Our General Store offers nourishing foods and snacks for anytime of day, and we want to do our part to help our neighbors in need have access to nutritious and affordable food. When we can we donate food, host karma yoga gatherings and support Caring Cupboard events.

Supporting organizations and causes in the community is part of being a good neighbor. We do not donate beer at this time; however, we allocate a charitable giving budget on a monthly basis. Donations may include Gretna Brewery gear such as t-shirts, hats and empty glass growlers. You can ask for donations up to 6 months in advance. Requests will be reviewed and notice of a decision will be sent within 7 days of receipt.

Charity Events

There’s a lot of amazing people supporting terrific causes in our community. While we are not donating beer at this time, we are happy to partner with you to host a charitable event at the Brewery. For the event, you can select a beer on tap for a portion of proceeds to be donated to your cause.

We will host one charitable event a month with a required reservation 60 days prior to your event. Requests will be reviewed and notice of a decision will be sent within 7 days of receipt.
